Growing in Faith for 140 Years
Kids of the Legacy

Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church is celebrating 140 years of God's faithfulness. For generations, children have come through the doors of Oak Ridge to worship, learn God's Word, sing His praises, and grow in their faith. Today, you are part of that same wonderful story.
Under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Ricky D. Turner, we thank God for His many blessings and celebrate the rich legacy of our church family. Our anniversary theme is:
Reflecting • Celebrating • Envisioning Our Future
-
We reflect

Next Generation
Building on a Legacy of Faith
For 140 years, Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church has stood as a witness to God's faithfulness.
The generations before us prayed, served, sacrificed, and trusted God. Because of their faithfulness, we have the privilege of continuing the work they began.
As Joshua reminded the people of Israel, they placed stones of remembrance so future generations would never forget what God had done.
"When your children ask... tell them..."
Joshua 4:21–24
Our church has its own story of faith. Every pastor, every member, every ministry, every prayer, and every act of service has helped build the legacy we celebrate today.
As we reflect on God's goodness, we also celebrate His continued blessings.
Our future is filled with hope because God is not finished with Oak Ridge.
You are not just the future of Oak Ridge—you are part of its present. Your faith, your gifts, your service, and your leadership will help shape the next chapter of our church's story.
Take a moment to share your hopes, prayers, or favorite memories of Oak Ridge as we celebrate 140 years and look forward with expectation to all that God has in store.
