New Member Orientation
Join weekly orientation classes during Sunday School to learn about our church’s beliefs, values, and practices. After completing the class, you’ll enjoy the rights and responsibilities of membership at Oak Ridge. You’ll also be officially welcomed into the congregation during our Bobby Stewart Church Growth Celebration.

New Member Orientation
New Member Orientation marks the beginning of your Christian journey here at Oak Ridge. After joining the church, a New Member Counselor will guide you on where to go and what to expect each Sunday. This eight-week course will guide you through the foundational beliefs of the Christian faith and the organizational structure of our ministry.

As you engage in each session, you’ll be encouraged to embrace your new church family and grow in your relationship with Christ. We invite you to attend these sessions each Sunday morning until you have fulfilled the requirements to move into a regular Bible class.
Each week focuses on a different topic relevant to your Christian journey.

Upon completing the eight-week course, you will receive the “Right Hand of Fellowship” from our Senior Pastor — formally welcoming you as a fully pledged member.
