Oak Ridge 140th Church Anniversary Celebration
Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, under the faithful leadership of Rev. Dr. Pastor Ricky D. Turner, Senior Pastor, who has served as shepherd of this flock for 28 years. We're blessed to celebrate 140 years of God’s faithfulness, service, worship, and legacy.
This year’s anniversary theme is:
Reflecting, Celebrating, and Envisioning Our Future
We are looking back with gratitude, celebrating with joy, and moving forward with faith.
Joshua 4:21–24 (NIV) “Israel crossed the Jordan on dry ground.”
Israel set stones so that future generations would remember what God had done. We, too, continue laying stones — honoring God and the generations who served faithfully to bring us to this moment.
Psalm 103:1–2 (NIV) “Praise the Lord, my soul… and forget not all his benefits.” Our praise becomes an offering of thanksgiving for all God has done in 140 years.
With grateful hearts, we bless the Lord for His goodness, mercy, and unending benefits.
1 Corinthians 2:9 (NIV) “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard… the things God has prepared for those who love him.”
God has prepared greater things ahead for Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church.
As we celebrate 140 years, we look forward with expectation, trusting that the best is yet to come.
